The FPS play

January 14, 2010 in general Posts

Dear All,

Five Point Someone is now a play! Produced by Evam, India’s top theatre company, this play will be rolled out around the country with nine cities covered in the first phase.

My love for theatre (used to do lots of plays in college) and Evam’s passionate team (the founders quit their corporate job offers after their MBA to start Evam) means they have my full support for taking Indian theatre to a new level. Evam’s plays are awesome, and you can ask anyone who has seen them. The FPS adaptation will be a fire cracker.

They are offering early bird tickets on their site. Performances are live, hence limited in number and tickets sell out soon. So, don’t miss this one.

The link with all the details is here.

Regards,

Chetan

Kolkata is the art and cultural capital of the world ( not only india but the world ) … your better half will vouch for that … so they should kick start the tour from kolkata … theatre is the ultimate form of art … so by my logic kolkata should get a show

also we need to cater to north east hilly states, bihar, jharkhand and orissa so kolkata must get a show …

I do theatre too in an amateur theatre group. We in Mysore have a lot amateur theatre groups and the major one is supported by Karantaka govt ie Rangayana. http://bit.ly/58yr6w so please if you can do something about them coming to Mysore, I request you to make this happen :)
