The 3 launch

Filed under: General — admin @ 4:25 pm

Dear All,

Thanks so much for you wonderful comments and encouragement. And special thanks to those who remembered/figured-out my birthday. I have some idea about the 3 launch events, though will make a separate post later with all the details. I only get to meet readers at launch time. So, if you are in that city, I want to see you there. As of now, here is what I know about the schedule:

Thu, May 8th: Mumbai

Venue and Time: Big Bazaar, Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, 7:00pm

Sat, May 10th: Delhi (Gurgaon)

Venue and Time: Big Bazaar, Gurgaon @ 6:00pm (TBC)

Other cities (Venue and Time TBC):

Sun, May 11th: Kolkata

Sat, May 17th: Bangalore

Sun, May 18th: Hyderabad

Sat, May 24th:  Ahmedabad

Sun, May 25th: Pune

More cities (Dates, Venue and Time TBC):

Lucknow, Bhubneshwar, Trivandrum, Jaipur and possibly some others.

We have tied up with Depot, the bookstore chain of Big Bazaar group who will co-ordinate all the launches.  They have promised me that they will make me reach as many of my readers as possible and make it the biggest book launch ever.  It’s all pretty low key for now but the action will begin soon. So, do join the fun.

  30. Dear Chetan,

I am not a good English reader nor am I used to read lot of English books. I read generally gujarati Novels, as it takes time for me to understand the English Novels. Though these days I read some English too.
But your first book, while my way back from Mumbai to Ahmedabad by flight, I had time at airport and entered Crossword where I found your books in bestseller Section, Went through the Prologue of One night at call centre…. could not stop my self from reading it further, But time for the flight and i bought all three books…
BELIEVE ME IT IS FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT I COMPLETED THE FIVE PPOINT SOMEONE IN ONE GO…… WHICH I HAVE NEVER EVER DONE EVEN WIITH THE GUJARATI NOVELS.
    JUST JUST JUST SUPERB……..

Would definately take your Autographs when u are in Ahmedabad, As i am not a good communicator I will just come, see you and take your autographs….. atleast!!!!

  35. Hi Chetan,

First of all congratulations for the success of all the three books, I havent yet read 3 so very very eger to read it. I had read 1 night before FPS and thts the reason I was able to finish FPS in 3 and half hrs from Mumbai to Navsari(Gujarat) in train standing in crowd :D, I must tell u this bcoz I was never a book reader and ur books have made me alot interested in reading books, after that I have read many more books, but I still feel the first book which I read had biggest impact on me, U are the best I have read till date, Thanks MANY MANY for comming up with such wonderful stuff, All the best for all ur future books,

last but not the least keep gaps between ur books the way u have kept for 3 so the eagerness becomes necessity of the reader ;)

    Thanks alot
    Sincerely,
    Prashant Rathod

  38. Hey,

I have just started reading “good” books. I read all three from you and found the first one best of three….maybe because I am also preparing for JEE..abt which I am confident I won’t make..up.wel leaving that part aside I really like the way you put up things..and to some extent got inspired by your writing style in my own blog..eh..i hardly update it now..

Well i would like to investigate on a part in your third Book. In last part when Ali comes unaware of the violence outside it is mentioned he is wearing casuals..i.e. Jeans and tee but when the MAma and his supporters take him out of the vault he is mentioned wearing Kurta Paijama.

I owe an apology if I am wrong.

    Keep Writing!!!
